Fitting

Dansk Sintermetal A/S offers various types of fitting work in connection with the supply of sintered components.

Examples are the forcing in of self-lubricating bearings and/or pins in the sintered components.
In addition, we carry out jointing of two or more sintered components in cases where for process engineering reasons the component geometry does not allow powder compaction of a single component.
Simple mechanical fittings
Sintered components inclusive hardening or surfacetreatment according to customer requests.

Dividing the component into several parts which are then joined is an attractive solution.

In such cases joining may be performed both before and after sintering.

If joining is carried out before sintering, especially strong joints may be made by making the various elements of various materials with different sintering shrinkages.
